Lincoln County, New Mexico

Today's road trip took us to the towns of Lincoln, Capitan and to the Valley of Fires in Lincoln County, New Mexico. Lincoln was put on the map by Billy the Kid and the Lincoln County wars. Capitan is where Smokey Bear is burried. Valley of Fires is a 1500-5000 year old lava fiend.
