We are Kenny and Ginny. We call Northeast Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula home during the summer months. Together, we enjoy recreational boating on the Oconto River and the Bay of Green Bay and camping in the cooler northern states. When the boating season is over, we become snowbirds and head south for the winter with our luxury DRV Moble Suites 5th-wheel trailer that we call Château de Sallé.

I bought the Château de Sallé in July 2018 with my late wife Nancy after our Monaco Windsor motorhome, OWFISH, was totaled in an accident.

New Travel Partner

 

I have a new travel partner. Meet Ginny LaFountain from Amasa, Michigan. Ginny is a retired school teacher from Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District's Head Start program. Ginny and I will become husband and wife on August 13th, 2022.

Trailer Repairs

 

I took my trailer to All Seasons RV Supercenter in Muskegon, MI, yesterday to repair the damage caused by the tire blowout at the end of March. I left at 7:15 yesterday morning and returned home at 5:15 this evening. Not too bad for a 1000-mile trip. It may take a month to do all the repairs. I can't wait to see that bill.

Buddy

 


Buddy left out at 4:15 yesterday morning with my daughter Evon on a road trip to his new forever home in Buena Vista, Colorado. He will be living with my granddaughter, MacKenzie. I'm going to miss him.
